I did 5.5 years there....... Hahaha! Good lord! That I think was right before I got put in there or early after. Tony K was a scary guy. Celest was cool but I only got to know her later after I left. Tammy standing there getting yelled at by her parents. Man this is a bit upsetting to watch.

Newton is a f*$%ing liar. I was in KOEP for 2.5 years. The restraining on the floor was a form of punishment for even the most miniscule rule violation, it was extremely painful and often lasted for many hours.

OMG!!! St. Pete Straight Warehouse at 7:50. I thought I'de never have to see it again. Brings back NIGHTMARES just looking at it!!! I was there for 19 months in 1989-90.

It's amazing to me how closely this rehab program resembles a cult. Everything the kids form their identity around is suddenly removed and replaced with this church like room with the "12 commandments" and you have a charismatic leader, the doctor, telling all his followers he loves them and in unison they say they love him back, like God and his followers. Cults are also notorious for recruiting the socially maladjusted and spiritually empty, which drug addicts very often are.
