Great movies back then...no need for hip pop and not such a huge focus on computer generated special effects. There was heart and creativity and wit and humor.

That system probably contains new 'data encryption algorithms' - you'll never get in there. Love the way they threw techie words in to make sound more... techie.

Still a great movie, one of my favourites and one of the best from the 80's.

(Sigh) An interesting era that was... So different from now. We thought the future would tech-laden, so many music works reflected that concept. And now, here we are: Right & wrong about how life these days would be. There's tech everywhere, but I haven' heard any decent-sounding new electronica since "Runaway" was released... And not much for sometime before that.
