ah but Catholic and Orthodox Christians are humble enough to interpret the important parts based on expert opinions, by the fathers of the church.

You are assuming every Christian follows Luther's idea that they do it on their own.

So you have half a million Protestant versions, and one version for the other 1 and a half billion Christians.
