Gorgeous red brick arches; hand-carved woodwork; soaring, stately windows; Merrill Hall is the oldest building on a Maine public campus in the state and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Merrill Hall is the University's main administration building (President's Office, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Registrar's Office, Human Resources, and others). It's also the home of the Dept. of Visual & Performing Arts, and features a state-of-the-art New Media lab, electro-acoustic music lab, and Nordica Auditorium (our main concert hall).
