When I Was a Young Man
From Moscow Nights
When I was a young man long time ago
Thru blue Moscow Nights deep in snow
We would talk and scheme and then we'd walk and dream
Our utopian hearts oh, all aglow
Youthful dreams turn nightmares but yet, but yet
All our love of freedoms beauty we will ner forget
Under stars of evil and dreadful hate
Our wondrous children still now defy their fate
Thru the years of hope and fears we have all seen
Many comrades disappear , how sad we have been
Different czars shall come and different czars will go,
And darling I still love you so.
O, when I was a young man a long time ago
Thru blue Moscow Nights deep in snow
We would talk and scheme and then wed walk and dream
Our utopian hearts oh, all aglow
Youthful dreams turn nightmares but yet, but yet
All our love of beautys freedom we will ner forget
Neath satellites of evil and dreadful hate
Our wondrous children still now defy their fate
Thru the years of hope and fears we have all seen
Old comrades disappear , how sad we have been
Different czars will come but different czars shalll go,
And darling I still love you so.
Get well, my man.

ohhh
we love tuli so! what a living treasure... hope the benefit is packed! i truly wish we could come down to ny this month for the get together, it happens jan 22 is norm's birthday but we're just too broke to afford the trip and the point is to raise funds for our dear poet. how glad i am that he has good people watching out for him now!
so grateful for this medium, through which we can connect with you and all the angels who have nurtured and inspired what is best in us. long live tuli!
