  • This is why these cars sell for pretty cheap after Hertz is done with them. People know that boneheads with no experience or respect for the car pound the shit out of them. You might want to keep traction control on when you are going over 150mph...just saying...The car should top out at 186 if it is running healthy. Hertz doesn't put a limiter on them.

  • @elitebomber People rent them because they can do what ever they want with them, only an idiot would purchase a used rental car. Traction control just waters the car down, IF you have ever driven one then you might know that it keeps the car from being what is built to be.

  • @elitebomber On a side note, there's really no purpose for turning traction control off when you're doing 150mph in a straight line. It can help you from wiping out. Traction control and active handling exist for a reason on these cars.

  • @elitebomber You have a nice C6, sounds great. Well I had it off because we were doing powerslides and what-not then I got on the loop and I punched it.

  • you have to be 24 to rent a corvette???? 3 more years...

  • @elitebomber THat is true cause im 11 and when i went to florida and my dad tryed to rent a car they had so many zhz corvettes

  • @linkinmylog Competitive driving mode is a good in between. It will turn traction control off so you can still spin the tires but it will leave active handling (less intrusive) on so you still have some computer assistance if the car starts to lose control.

  • @linkinmylog I own one...watch my videos. It keeps the car from losing control when you're doing over 150mph and accidentally hit a slick on the road and break traction for half a second.

  • @linkinmylog damn thats not bad at all...im going to have to do this lol

  • @Mark37251 Its about 250 a day, it limits at 168.
