Just a quick question. I've been studying Emergent Complexity for some time now, and so far all of the data has led me to believe that local agents operating by local laws create macroscopic attributes that exceed the sum of their parts. I've not seen any research to suggest that the macroscopic agent can affect the microscopic. Quantum Theory would suggest quite the opposite. Could you cite your sources so I may review them myself?
