@hasonopinion no, she didn't have the money at that time. this was before american idol. she was working 3 to 4 jobs just to pay the bills all the while auditioning just to get a recording contract. when everything failed, her appartment buring down was just icing on the cake. You can only live so long in a car before you decide it's not worth it anymore. That's when she headed back to texas. it was shorting after coming home that her friend jessica showed her the AI aps.
