@linearconcepts But that is how PCC rolls. It's run by two old people with no children of their own who think the world can be turned back into 1955. As if 1955 humans were any different than 2011 humans.

@1Atomtan I know nothing about how Pensecola operates, so I can't comment on that.

My comments are aimed at this song and how its authors have either never read their whole Bibles, or have never tried to make sense of the very many passages that directly contradict this song. They're content to be cherry-picking. And that's not good.

That's why I offered those passages. They force us to deal with the implications of both Jesus' words AND His actions. ..and then apply His mindset.

@linearconcepts I'll get back to you on your provided scripture. BTW: I don't agree with a single way Pensacola Christian college operate their " business " or the testimony in their local community. This song is terrible also and no human is that sugary sweet. Christian or otherwise.

Jesus chose to destroy Sodom & Gomorrah rather than to do miracles there, knowing full well that if He did miracles, they would have repented.

1. Read Gen 19:24

2. Ask yourself who the 2 "Lords" are.

3. Read Matt 11:20-27

If that doesn't convince you, read that last line of v27 and me again how salvation has nothing to do with election. Want more? Read John 6 and think about it.
