Finishing up the previous tutorial, this explains how to export the UV map into a .tga file so you can bring it into Gimp or Photoshop to create the textures!

I hope it helps, and again tell me what you think!!!

  • blender is waaay toooo complicated! imho

  • iced earth is a-fricken-mazing.

  • Ummm no scripts are opening like I went into the script panel then to the uv and there was nothing

  • blender scripts use a scriptlanguage called python.

you probably have the newest version of python-interpreter installed and blender scripts won't work with that.

if you run linux and have a cool repository you might install

the svn-version of blender (wich is a snapshot of the current development) but the layout has changed :D have fun.

//the sound of this tutorial is so awful my ears are in real pain right now.

  • hey, when i open the scripts window, and point to UV, nothing is there.

  • how do you change the colors of the blender UI?

  • question, when I export the UVs with python the file comes up with nothing in it and it cant be opened by photoshop
