i live in the highland park area and on this night i saw more than 30 transformers exploding and power lines merely knocked out. it's no wonder everyone in these areas are scared as heck! according the news report of the wind, we had a level 1 and a half hurricane.in fact, there was a McDonalds sign flying out of control! right across my building, a metal cover went and knocked out electricity! that was one heck of a night.mtook 3 days for my electricity back.
