I remember reading about the Milgram experiment in a Psychology class I took. It's truly sickening. How could anybody do this to another person?
-
However funny this is, this form of cruelty through something known as the 'Agentic Shift' is exactly the same thing that was used to kill 6,000,000 Jews and countless other genocides. Normal people can do truly evil deeds
-
@MrChrisbwee The "holocaust" is used for the Jews, yes, un truthfully, yes. The REAL victims are in other lands. Hitler wasn't about mass murder, he just wanted the cunts out of his country, and look at us now. Jew banks bankrupting us all, again, Israel fucking up the middle east, again..it's a continuation of bullshit.

@michael616joaquin urrrm.........like I said.........the one commited whilst the Nazi Party were in power. I thought that was pretty clear?? I think you're confusing the word Holocaust and genocide.
-
@MrChrisbwee How much have you looked into the Holocaust?? Which holocaust do you mean? Mao? Pol Pot? The Native Americans?
-
You're right loz1023 this is a duplicate of the Milgram experiment and a scary insight into human nature. This is exactly how the Nazis became such a prominent force despite their callous ways. "I'm sorry, but I'm only following orders" is a phrase that caused many atrocities like the holocaust. It's both amazing and saddening the things human beings will do to one another when blame can be attatched to someone else.

This is a study on the concept of Authority.
Authority sucks

@Hirnlego999 Interesting ....someone had told it had something to do with Stanford.I guess they got stanhope and stanford confused. So milgram exp. ?
-
Stanford made prison experiments. This is the milgram experiment.
Wow. I can't imagine shaking their hands at the end or laughing after the big reveal. I may be cynical but the implications of this experiment still shake me. Their unwillingness to submit themselves to the same "torture" as Doug just reveals a fundamental egocentrism that is inexcusable.
