Imagine cover

This is one of five recordings I did in one day. It was a bit of an experiment in recording. On previous videos I'd recorded some of the songs first, then sung along to them to get the best recording quality. I wanted to be able use the same vocals as on the video, but I also wanted to be able to do some post production on them and indeed the music. I'll explain more about how I achieved that across the 5 vids.

This is a much requested song that I've finally got around to doing. It is of course the iconic "Imagine" by the one and only John Lennon. The videos are not that spectacular. The focus is more on the audio recording side. However, because this is called Imagine, I wanted the video to look very basic and bland, so as to leave your imagination to do the work :)

I hope you enjoy my version of this song which is as beautiful today as it was when it was first penned.

i also finally went to xfactor audition in london as they selected one of my videos got thru to second round last week now waiting for call to do judges,, hope to hear in a few weeks..

Thank you. I always believe that songs should not just be sung, they should be expressed. That's what the words are there for. If we interpret them to events in our own lives it makes it possible to put real feeling into the expression.

I admire your faith in humanity. It's something I do not share and that's really why I am left to imagine the utopia that this song suggests :)

I read some of the comments...and even you seemed to say it isn't likely to ever happen. I disagree. I think we will eventually become everything this song says. I believe we are in our infancy as a species. It may not be possible for some to imagine us ever reaching these ideals, but I can. And I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us...I believe someday, we will all live as one...literally. I still believe your version captures the essence of the song as well as the original. hugs
