Pearl Jam - Alive live 31 Oct 2009 @ the Spectrum, Philadelphia

Pearl Jam playing their song Alive for the Philadelphia crowd during the last show ever at the Spectrum on Halloween 2009. I got some really good footage of Mike McCready's guitar solo on this one, especially when he plays the guitar behind his head. Also, before they started playing the song Eddie Vedder said this is the last time they'll play it live. I find that hard to believe as it's one of their biggest hits and a crowd pleaser, maybe he just meant last time at the Spectrum since it was the last show there? I don't know.

Don't worry people, I haven't gone all non-metal on ya. Pearl Jam is my girlfriend's favorite band so we drove up to Philadelphia to see them play on Halloween. I shot these vids while there. There will be more metal vids soon!

thanks for posting, i am in almost the same spot you are only on the other side of the stage, row 6 which was the first row of permanent seating right on the rail in the gray long sleeve shirt about same height and three/four people to the right of eddie at 4:25. cool! i can watch myself, i bet you might be in some of my shots/vids although i didnt shoot many at this show, too much jamming!
