This video shows how to create a stable plasmoid at 1atm in a microwave. It's a lot of fun =) The setup was built as in http://jnaudin.free.fr/html/oa_plasmoid.htm

  • Can this be dangerous in some way?

  • It can melt the glass, but I am not aware of other dangers.

  • @darek4488 who cares about radiation???!!!! plasma is so coooooool!

i dont give a shit if the anti magnetic grid of my microwave oven is not supposed to hold that much enegetic magnetic field.

Cancer can be fun anyway! ^^

  • the sound is awesome

  • yepp. :D

  • Vide not available =(

  • So why does the glass smash in this one?

  • Don't worry, there's no pressure buildup. The plasma can get pretty hot though, and I heard "on the internets" that it can melt your the glass, so try it with cheap bowls only.

  • I want to try it, but i also don't want to die yet! dilemna! Maybe if you'd left it one more second the whole thing would have blown!

  • aaw, a baby ball lightening!
