Old, old, old school here--if you have an exact date, I'd love to know what it is. And yes, that youngster with the brown hair is in fact Freddie Blassie. He's a babyface here, going up against future managing legend Wild Red Berry.

When Blassie started his career in the late 40s he called himself 'Sailor' Freddie Blassie.

I think ref Joe Varga is the father of Count Billy

Its great to see "The King of Men" classie Freddie Blassie in his early years of wrestling. FB one of the top grapplers of all time & as he often said "Listen You Pencil Neck Geeks" came to Australia in the early 70's . Lord have mercy when Freddie took them apart in Brisbane /Sydney or Melbourne.Great days God Bless Freddie.

There were few that could handle the mic like Red. He was the first manager i remember. with Hans mortier & Gorilla Monsoon. With the Gilligan twist I can see how Classy Freddie developed his bad knees!
