Alternatives to Juice Fast:
1. Breakfast- Low sugar fruit smoothie (ie berries & water); Lunch- Green salad (ie kale, parsely, avocado); Dinner- Green juice (around 75% greens)
2. Breakfast- Green juice (at least 50% leafy green vegetables..ie 50% collard greens, 50% carrots); Lunch- Green salad; Dinner- Green juice (around 75% green veggies)
Some people have fasts during which they may have a handful of nuts. I would suggest RAW almonds or walnuts
Fruits and veggies in green juice from my fast (in descending order):
Collard greens (mostly collard greens stalks)
Celery
Kale
1 small apple
1/2 granny smith apple
2 limes
Ginger
This yielded 64 ounces of juice.
