TEAMability, Inc., established in 2003 as a non-profit in San Antonio, Texas, serves children 0-22 years of age that have severe and multiple disabilities. TEAMability uses an innovative, holistic approach to teaching communication, and motor/sensory functioning. The TEAM includes a Teacher of the Visually Impaired, a PT, an OTR, parents and care givers. TEAMability collaborates with medical professionals and school personnel to provide comprehensive, consistent learning environments for the child that result in an improved quality of life and enhanced family bonding.
