Around the world...I don't know...in my town there was no noticeable changes in prices the last time the dragons won :)

I live in Calgary, AB, Canada. Everyone here is into hockey, and the last time our team(The Flames) got close to winning, some bars showing the games did sell for cheaper. And Flames related merchandise was sold for super cheap everywhere. Lost at the finals to Tampa Bay(Florida, USA) in the end though. I'm not really a sports person so I didn't really care.

Sweet video. I don't really follow Japanese baseball all that much, though I've been looking into it a bit more since the Cubs (my team) signed Kosuke Fukudome a couple days ago.

I go back every few years. I was in Hawaii this June...or was it July. I forget. And last year I stopped over on my way to Guatemala.
