so is this guy just using one of the Wii APIs to constantly switch between the mouse location that each wiimote is giving, the flickering cursor makes it seem that way.

not if programs are designed for separate inputs. but the interface has to be added for that to happen.
when people play two player games on different sides of the keyboard is no different.

Maybe if you ran a virtual pc on one monitor and the normal on the other.

paying attention to where both your hands are pointing and to where the mines are and whether the camera is looking at the right part of the screen is a lot of things to think about.
