@Navitron so that dumb ambient lighting always on now? or what?

Also there are some settings that can be even further increased.
groundEffectDist can go up to 500
groundEffectFade can go up to 1277
objectFade 0 (has to be re-enabled every time you restart Wow)
These are about all you can do to improve the graphics via console commands as of patch 4.2.2 (14545)

If your using these command from 2008 your actually lowering most of your setting if you have it already on ultra. Only 2 command are higher then ultra.
farclip 777 - ultra is 1250
horizonfarclip - no longer in game and is merged with farclip command
groundeffectdensity 256 - this is the only thing that's higher then ultra which is 128
groundeffectdist 140 - ultra is 260
smallcull - no longer in game
skycloudlod - still works
characterambient - no longer in game

@Navitron Lols not ture.. if you have a decent system.. you will notice little FPS difference. and get major improvements. Like not even see the grass loading or fading in. come over a hill and it's all there.
1920X1080P
16X QFSAA All settings maxed in Config, Forced Ultra Settings for Ambient Occlusion
145Fps in StormWind
65 FPS in 5 man Dungeon During Combat.

@Luigibros6Extra Blizz would not ban you because its just changing some of the graphic settings, so you dont need to be scared.

@whyt546 Blizzard already said they will never redo all the graphics in wow at once, instead they are going to slowly keep it up to date to suit what most consumers hardware can support (not the latest and greatest)
Blizzard can market this game at 90% of people with a computer, or the 10% who buy the latest hardware every 6 months.

@natranr The lighting system changed in Wrath then again in Cata. Now as of patch 4.2.2 (14545) the lighting is the same as if characterambient was off.
