A journey on a D Stock District Line train from Earls Court to Parsons Green.
There was engineering work between Wimbledon Park and Wimbledon, and between Embankment and Upminster, so trains were running : Putney Bridge to Edgware Road, Wimbledon Park to High Street Kensington, Parsons Green to Embankment, Richmond to HSK/Embankment, Ealing Broadway to HSK and Olympia to HSK.
After arriving at Parsons Green, you see the train go into the siding

  • i didn't know that Parsons Green has a depot

  • @straller100 It doesn't.

  • I like the metropolitan line more

  • @lukeool Haha okay :)

  • Just such a shame that the PIS screens they installed have such a low update frequency!

  • @leirikhol Low update frequency? What exactly do you mean by that?

  • The last time I went on a train that terminated at Parsons Green was 4 years ago. I was going to go to Wimbledon and get a train to Chessington from there but the signal at Wimbledon Park decided it doesnt want to work so instead I took the train to West Brompton and waited a good fucking 20 mins for an Overground train in the cold

  • @luerexbob certainly does cuz and smacked it gets too! Wooya Skum Bagz 2011

  • Nice video! I don't know why but i kinda like the sound of those doors closing :p

  • @luerexbob hi, i like the central more.

  • MIND THE GAP! btw i was there last weekend

  • @luerexbob On the BBC programme Top Gear the stig rode on this line from Gunnersbury to Monument

  • @luerexbob The LEDs are flashing at such a low rate the eye just reads it as constant on, but on most video cameras they're flickering.
