Do you guys ever consider the fact that you only believe what you want to believe? That you have condemned the theory because you just don't feel like believing it? I hear people bashing the theory of global warming all the time, and they are many times the same people that bash evolution. But talk to any person who has dedicated his life and time into studying climatology or anthropology, and they will insist that both are true.

@beats299 Do not believe in science like a religion my friend. Evolution theory is filled with holes they cannot prove. However if you want good science for climate read the rock. Geology DISPROVES the global warming quacks. The planet can go into ice age with 50 years span without our help, Right now u r in a golden age for earth's climate. Enjoy it and stop using it to make others slaves to some hair brained law or tax.

@sageallfields I'm not insisting that the government get involved. I'm just asserting that it might exist because of carbon emissions, and that the responsibility is on the consumer to acknowledge this fact and buy products accordingly. I am a libertarian, and if you want to drive a Hummer that's your right to do so. However, don't try and overcome a guilty conscience by insisting global warming is a hoax without properly looking into the facts. If after looking you disagree, then that's fine.

What's really at issue is the way 80 million democrats in this country alone rose up as instantaneous experts not only on global warming but experts on everybody who didn't goose step with them.

How did EVERY democrat get to be such an expert?

We are at the first critical point that was predicted over 20 years ago. 2010 was supposed to be the critical year and 360 ppm was the tipping point. Now that we are here the thresholds just keep getting pushed back. The people pushing the AGW exaggeration are the true deniers.

It's caused by fertilizer run-off from crop fields into the Mississippi & then into the ocean. The overall temp has decreased, as we are in a gradual cooling period for about 10 years now.

There is still no proof of a so called tipping point where everything will all of sudden go to hell and the weather becomes catastrophic everywhere and millions if not billions die. It's stuff the sci-fi movies are made up of. As for the melting of the ice caps,they melt, they grow,& Antarctica has at least since it's been measured has been overall growing. If you are referring to the dead zone due to algae then global warming doesn't have a thing to do with it.

There is no proof that there's a tipping point when the ppm reaches a certain amount and the climate goes into chaos. It's all dreamed up by scientists.
