You have to sign up to be a silver member(filling in info) but it is free. As for the modem get an ethernet cable, hook up to the modem, and pretty much thats it. I recomend getting a splitter so that you can hook up a computer and xbox at te same time

to connect to xbox live with modem just disconnect ethernet cable that connects to computer and then connect ethernet cable hooked up to xbox 360.

how do i connect to xbox live with a modem? and when i first sign on to live is it going to be a silver member? and i have NXE. when i got NXE i made an xbox profile does that profile stay with me on xbox live?can i use that same avatar?

They did not copy Nintendo, they enhanced. They took the "Mii's" (I hate Nintendo puting ii's at the end of everything) and gave it 50 Viagras and enhanced them making it bad ass.

how does this ripoff the ps3? sony is the one riping everything off of ppl. just look at the controller. do you see a huge home button in the center? i wounder how they got that idea? how about the sensors in the controller? that seams familiar. if Microsoft decides to come out with a handheld, ps3 fanboys are GUARANTEED to say its a ripoff of the psp. psp isnt the only handheld you out there ppl. and plus psp just blows. one little avatar creator isnt enough to go blaming Microsoft.
