Blues at the Blues Front Cafe with Jimmy "Duck" Holmes

Travelling through the "Deep South" I was able to capture this historic moment. In the small town of Bentonia in Mississippi, I met Jimmy "Duck" Holmes,..owner of this Blues Bar. This town prides itself by having Skip James as one of it's sons...but equally....it reveles the crudness of a place left in the "lonley island of misery within the vast ocean of wealth." But in the heart of the Deep South, music is part of their ancient heritage and the Mississippi Delta Blues leaves an unearasable footprint which has shaped the musical history of the world...Viewers will enjoy this brief moment , but so valuable, where I was fortunate enough to capture this unbelievable moment....From the womb of Bentonia,...Jimmy "Duck" Holmes James.....Sit....relax,...and enjoy...Frank Diaz
