that was terrible for an engy, you didn't even try to help prevent the first point, and now you have nothing to do except sit around until it is capped. Also I would hate to have a tele point still that far away...

the first poinr is usually taken very quicklly, and i don't just sit around, if the first point isn't captured yet, i try to defend it, and if we're doing quite well, i take my stuff to the first point or near it
