i agree, i preferred EJ's tone off of Musicom and Venus Isle, but some of the tones on bloom have grown on me over time. i dont expect him to return to the older tone... i feel like he has chosen to go another direction with less frills, which i understand. it will be great to have a new album out!

@tritonefascination I agree with you, Musicom and Venus Isle are my favourites, but also the Alien Love Child album is great. Right now I`m enjoying the Anaheim DVD. :-)
I will upload more videos, but I`m doing some changes on my gear right now, building a new pedal board, bought myself a Xotic BB preamp and a Malekko Chiklet yesterday, and a Empress Super Delay a month ago, some tweaking of my sound, and I will post more. :-)

@jek1606 i saw him on the ALC tour back in 2000 and his tone was great. he was still using the echoplexes at that point and they have alot to do with his tone. i played through a BB preamp not too long ago and should have bought it. amazing pedal. i owned a malekko spring chicken, which was the predecessor to the chicklet. phenomenal sounding reverb. how do you you like your super delay? did you get the vintage modified version, or the standard white version?
