My bunny is a single bunny and she tends to get bored but when I let her out into a room i made for her she seemed more scared than having fun is that because it was her first time? But when I try to pick her up she runs why is this?

@MsBunbun01 Re: room problem...Rabbits don't like open and new spaces. As prey animals, they live in perpetual fear, and a new environment has to be thoroughly investigated for threats before they can relax. Make sure there is somewhere for her to hid in the room, and be patient - your bun works on 'rabbit time; not human time, and this inert fear drives their psychoogy.

@MsBunbun01 Re: picking up: As prey animals, rabbits do not like being lifted from the gloor - the only time this happens in the wild is when they are being carried off to be a meal. However pet rabbits can learn to trust you & with gentle daily training and a lot of patience they can become OK with being handled. These animals are not like cats & dogs, which are predators, and pet rabbits are no different, psychologically, than wild ones. cont...

lots of helpful tips, thanks. I did not like the plastic ball though that looked like a real piss off thing. I bet my bunny Daisy wouldn't like it either. I will try the some of the other ball treats, she will like them. * _ *

My rabbits have always had treat balls but they know too well how to get the treats out now, as they are all about 4-5 years old, I will try the bottle instead because that will be different and hopefully stop them being so lazy! brilliant video!
