Tales from the Reading Room - Episode 7

It has been a fun and busy fortnight in the Reading Room as we've had our annual visit from students on the Study Abroad Program at Texas State University. As well as using primary materials from the RSC archive in our Reading Room and having a full programme of shows, stage combat classes, lectures and voice classes organised by our Education Team, they have had a 'behind-the-scenes' stack tour of the Library and Archive and a talk and display of some of our treasures from John Benson and I. Here I (Maddie Cox) talk to them about their work as we look at a wonderful volume of John O' Connor's scenery sketches (made for the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre between 1879 and 1889).
