Part of the reason I post videos is to hear different points of view, so please comment.

My point of view: I find this type of thing personally offensive, and I fail to see it's biblical justification. This message is fine for church, and to express it in public is your right to free speech, but at my home I should not have to tolerate this nonsense. It is a PERSONAL BELIEF SYSTEM, isn't it?

What is your point of view?

  • Somebody should make a pamphlet wording it the way you do in this video ... add more to it of course...

"Your life is shit... here are for steps to make it better"

    1. Realize that you are a piece of shit.

    2. Admit that you are weak and can't do anything about it.

    3. Believe that humpty dumpty fell off of the wall so you could have breakfast every sunday morning.

    4. Tell everyone how worthless you are, and eggs and grape juice make you a better person.

    something like that

  • LOL.

  • "How does the physical death of a metaphysical being have any effect of my moral indiscretions?" Man, I love the way you phrased that! Great Video!

  • : )

    Glad you're back, my friend.

  • when i see them coming up to the door I just don't answer. IF they leave one, I usually just throw it in the trash like junk mail and all the other BS flyers & door hangers we get (siding, home improvement, pizza etc.)

I don't think there should be laws to control it. ThHe less government interference, the better.

  • "I don't think there should be laws to control it. ThHe less government interference, the better."

    (r)Amen to that!

  • You're damn right it's not rocket science, cos rocket science actually makes sense.

God doesn't want us to go to hell, so he sends himself down to earth to be sacrificed, to himself, inorder for him to allow himself to forgive the sinners.

So now inorder for US to be saved, we have to believe that he sent himself to be sacrificed to himself inorder to allow himself to forgive us.

    Definitely not rocket science.

  • A fun thing to do to people who canvass your neighborhood with garbage like this is to invite them into your home, sit them down on a couch, and tell them all about how you worship Odin, Thor, and Loki, and that you intend to die with a sword in your hand one day so that you'll be able to enter the kingdom of Valhalla. Offer them some cookies, say, "Sorry...you were saying?" and smile and nod. Don't accept any reading materials. See how long they stay. They likely won't return.

  • To all the scoffers - the day cometh that burneth hotter than an oven...

  • Im in agreement till you think it's trespassing on your property to put a flier, letter, bill, notice of non-payment or any other document in your letter box. I hear this stupid non-logic every day at work when people threaten my company with tresspassing on their property because we sent them a letter for non-payment of services which we then threaten to terminate. Sending a letter is not trespassing on your property. - just a sore point cos I have to listen to that idea 5 days a week

  • Any unwanted flyers are a waste of freaking paper and l hate to think some people will fall for the old problem, reaction, solution con game . However l did "favorite" this video because l laughed myself to tears . Thank you, l needed that .

  • @hagenar Your point is well taken; however, we have a long tradition of Christian politicians discriminating against less popular Christians in the US, those who most typically proselytize (JW, Mormons). A messier streetscape might induce an ordinance requiring propagandist registration and licensing, so that we know whom to bill to clean up the mess they leave behind. They are the ones littering by leaving unsolicited material, IMO. Your idea is good, as long as the fundies foot the bill.

  • @myerssa7 I agree with you in spirit, but I think the end result would just be a messier streetscape. Politicians tend not to legislate against Christians.

What about some sort of system by which unwanted propaganda somehow is returned to whence it came?

  • Generally, property rights trump free speech. The amount of trees consumed for the dissemination of this smut is disheartening. One pragmatic piece of advice to all: in the context of getting religious fliers on vehicles, make sure to throw them on the ground. I hate littering, but if enough people publicly litter, city governments will be forced to make this proselytizing more difficult. By properly discarding religious propaganda, you are complicit in perpetuating their social nuisance.

  • Over 3000 gods worshiped today? (does not include hindu as the number would go over 330 million)

So many to choose from. Now I'm confused.

  • I don't know if it should be illegal, but you can see how it's essentially a con-job:

step 1: convince them that they lack something

step 2: convince them that they NEED that thing they lack

step 3: convince them that you have what they need

step 4: by this point they should willfully "purchase the product"

the most irritating part of this for me is that people will fall for it

  • @onijester56 No, but I wish I was. My overbearing and over-emotional self is very annoying at times, though.
