Mangalore Beach - Thaneerbavi

You can reach the Thaneerbavi Beach in Mangalore.by crossing the river which separates it from the mainland by a motor boat or use the bridge and drive to there. The beach is about 500 meters wide. I like to listen to the waves breaking on to the shore.
On June 23. 2007an Eritrean Freighter , M.V. Den Den capsized in the rough sea off this coast. You can see some of the wrekage in the sea behind those kids in the sea , in this clip too.

Was that a box being thrown? Or optical illusion?

I joined a couple of video clips and that "box being thrown" at 0.58 is only an illusion introduced by the video editing software in between two clips.You can see one more change of scene at 2.03 made by the editing software. I let the original sound recording as it is and you can hear the waves and the faint voices and also the breeze.

One of the best beaches in Mangalore. Pity there is a lot of unwanted industrial activity taking place close to it.
