  • Stop making so many negative comments all you pathetic keyboard warriors hiding behind the anonymnity of the internet. Especially so close to the 11th of November, show some respect. Whilst we did hold out in 40-41 and stopped Germany from winning the war, we could not have won without the USA on our side. Go to the USAAF memorial at Duxford to see how many American Airmen died flying from England in WW2 before posting your pathetic remarks.

  • 5* or thumbs up mate , nice video , cheers

  • @Plawranc Thank you! My thoughts exactly.

  • The Battle of Britain was basically RAF against the might of the Luftwaffe there were a few Americans, not to forget the Polish and Check pilots who made a major contribution but basically it was the first major defeat for Germany and Britain`s holding out against Germany was the main reason Germany lost the war.

  • i believe some Free staters took part in the Battle Britain aswell. RIP to all those brave men.

  • don't know about you guys but i still love the sound of a spitefires engine roaring!

  • @QuinctiliusVarus and we love the yanks too! forever joined at the hip and proud to be brothers in arms. (and peace)

  • My granddad flew in the Battle of Britain, and he always said that whenever he got into his plane he always had the same thought: "If there's a chance I won't touch British soil again, by God I'm not letting Jerry take my place". He and every other pilot in the Battle of Britain will always be a hero to me.

  • @GlennAsh by the way it was 7
