Excellent Yoga Pose to build power, grit and determination. This is the Elbow Platform Pose.
This is an advanced yoga pose, as it requires some strength to hold. Especially when doing the advanced version of this tough pose, where you are balancing on one heel only.
It is important to be careful with your hamstrings and lower back when practicing this pose.
The pose is great for strengthening both your upper and lower body at the same time and can be done with a variety of breathing exercises. Start out doing about 15 seconds and build up to 3 minutes if you can.
