Domestic Rainwater Harvesting can easily be integrated into house design or retrofit into existing houses. If properly done, Rainwater can be used for very high value end uses including Drinking and cooking. In Bangalore, the city in which this film is shot, storage (the costliest component) usually already exists.

  • Great job! In what country is your house located? I assume India? I live in Ontario Canada and have been collecting rainwater for about 8 years. I hooked up my toilet to rainwater and will be filtering this year and try to use it for laundry. I was going to make a slow sand fliter but since watching you I think I will add charcoal to the system since it is cheap and abundant here.
