This house has a few styles mixed in, there's clearly contemporary but also a bit of Colonial and Traditional mixed in as well, I think it came out nicely
--------------------------------------
The exterior is white stucco with a blue asphalt roof, the entry is a large covered porch and off to the side is a private terrace for the master bedroom. Inside is a large entry and formal living room with a dual sided fireplace shared by the family room. To the right is a wet bar and the formal dining room. Past the fireplace is the large family room with dramatic angled walls and soaring wood ceilings, to the right is the spacious kitchen with two islands and the breakfast area. In the corner is a pantry/laundry area and further back, the pool bath, with access out to the back porch. The patio is large and partially covered, and adjacent is a large fenced in pool. Back inside and through the hallway on the left side of the house is a half bath (I briefly lost control of the camera here :P) and the master bedroom, which has a mini version of the same angled feature in the family room. Access to the front terrace is through the door there. Through the double doors at the end of the room is the spacious master bath with a roman tub, dual vanities, large walk in shower, and separate water closet (complete with a bidet!). Next to that is a dressing area and access to the walk in closet. Back through the hallway are the two other bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms and walk in closets.

  • And I know what you mean about them angled walls, SHA makes it difficult! It's really the only time I use the shapeable floor (which is what I used to get the ceiling as well), as for the trim, I just use the shapes, though as you can see, I forgot to do it in the master bedroom!

  • Thanks! I could see this being a beach house, when I design houses I do so as if they were to be built in a neighborhood with acreage sized lots (I have also designed said neighborhood actually :P, It's called Meadowbrook)

The main room is very large, I think something like 50' square, excluding the angled out area.

  • i really like the feeling of this house. It is very open and airy.

I would say that this house is beach style because of the amount of windows and the simplicity of the design.

I also appreciate the angled walls because i know how hard those are to do the flooring and trimwork on with sierra.

Good job, i really like this house.
