Thanks heaps! Talk about turning back the clock! A spitting (and hissing) image of our beloved Miss Boots. Same characteristics, same behavior but that she trained me. She'd hop on the banister, look at the roof (two story house), then at my shoulder.
And that's how it began. Banister to shoulder to roof where she would inspect things. Peer over the edge and call me when she was ready to come back down. Shoulder to banister and a cat grin.
"Thank you! You may now be dismissed."

Heheheh, that's pretty funny about Miss Boots also using your shoulder. That would have made a great video. Carly is certainly an individualistic cat. I've never seen a cat who studies things over as much as her. Sometimes she'll sit in the floor and stare a hole in me for 3 or 4 minutes before she decides to jump up in bed or in a chair, as the case might be.
