So I wanted to make a special effect, for my flash game, and I need it to be in a 'sprite sheet' format, but I wanted it to be animated, first to test to see if animation worked in my engine, second to see if it was fast (It does, and it is)

Here is a quick tutorial on how I made it work.

  • Yes, but it doesn't have to be. The end product that I got from this, was a simple transparency enabled png. Which I happen to reuse in a flash game. But really I only did this in flash, because it was the fastest way I could think to do this effect.

  • the game which ur making the effect for is that flash as well? i assume yes.

  • Adobe Flash CS3 Is what I used. This youtube video is being played inside of Flash as well. :) Flash is everywhere, which is why I use it.

  • dude, is this a game creator? if so where can it be found,

    Thanks!
