The family begins to gather at the Cory Mansion. Sam, Amanda, and Evan are the first to arrive, from the office. They are followed closely by Jamie, Steven, and Vicky. Rachel isn't speaking to anyone and seeks solace in cuddling baby Steven. Amanda looks to Ada for guidance on what to do now. Matt, Jamie, and Vicky learn that Mac made pre-arrangements for his funeral. Matt and Jamie agree that Mac will never really die. Evan relays a message to Rachel from the office that they all send their love and she is not to worry about anything but her family, and offers his personal condolences. Josie arrives and when he sees her, Matt engulfs her in a hug, which she returns

I never liked Laurence Lau as Jamie. Way too unemotional and never had any chemistry with Victoria Wyndham. Richard Bekins was the best.

Given the rich history of the show, it is odd that there was no scene between the characters of Rachel and Jamie on the news of Mac's death. Even more odd is that the tender scene of comforting Rachel was with Evan Bates.
