I used to visit Victoria until i heard about their poop problem. This was after my husband and I strolled the trails along the harbor and thought it was our imagination that the shores had a foul stench. We will never set foot on this dump of a city ever again.

This video is a lie because there ARE no floaties from our SCREENED outfalls, and DFO shellfish bans apply to ANY Canadian sewage outfalls, no matter what the level of treatment. Victoria does NOT need more land-based sewage treatment plants, because our current, marine-based sewage treatment system, together with source controls, works very well.

Some of my friends really want to spend a night in Victoria this July. I will spend the night on my boat, with a self contained toilet. Mr. Floatie, any chance I can have a picture with you?
I have been thinking about posting a few flyers in some public toilets. Does anyone have some flyers already made?

When I lived in Victoria I'd yell "Feeding Time" every time I flushed the toilet, as I knew all human waste was being directly dumped into the ocean, and the fish might be eating it.
