@FullArius I'm sure Disney would wait Julie Andrews complete My Fair Lady before making Mary Poppins if Julie wasn't kicked out of the movie adaptation. And as much as I love Audrey Hepburn, and I love Marni Nixon's voice, I always believed Julie Andrews would be better then them in this role.

@MysteriousNights I LOVE Julie Andrews, but don't you call Audrey Hepburn "nothing". She was a wonderful human being, a very talented actress, and an extremely beautiful woman. These two women are my favorite people in the entertainment world.

But who would play Marry Poppins? I can't imagine anyone playing that role other than Julie Andrews.

Julie Andrews really shouldn't have gotten replaced by Audrey Hepburn! Andrews has a beautiful voice and is a broadway legend! Hepburn, in my opinion, is nothing compared to Andrews.

yup. she was the original. she was going to play eliza in the movie but got replaced by audrey hepburn. and then julie did Mary Poppins and got the last laugh. :D
