Tief Drin in Bohmerwald. Played on our 1912 Lauter -Humana player piano. My grandmother cleaned house for someone in exchange for this piano and when I visited her it never worked. As I grew older I became interested in how it worked and so soon after I was married my grandmother gave it to us as a gift. My father and I took it apart almost 30 years ago and and had part restored by an expert and did the rest ourselves. The piano works entirely by pneumatics (air) and a foot pump bellows. You have to pump the pedals to make it play! We have many paper piano rolls from my grandparents and many we have bought new from QRS. The roll we are playing is a QRS roll from the 1920's, the words are all in German.
Wonderful!
Thank's for response the Video to me!
