This video is not a good comparison, Sony cameras are made more for the 'point and shooter' where no color correction is needed. The canon cameras are made to shoot flatter so a filmmaker can color grade in post and have more detailed black levels and less contrast. Also, the settings on each camera were probably on Auto and not set correctly (white balance etc.)
