It is amazing, but, it's also amazing that most of us don't recognize the capabilities in a child. Given a good teacher, many children are capable of some highly unexpected accomplishments. Mozart's father was a concert violinist, his sister also taught him. Evgeny Kissin started piano at 2. He also had an older sister that helped him...and his mother was a piano teacher. Natural aptitude and good influences can work wonders.
