This is a small reflowing solder oven. Most I have seen on the internet involve some kind of skillet as a heat source. As I didn't have one available, I went with a beefy toaster. The electronics is easy stuff. I am using a TRIAC to turn on the heating elements. The programming isn't the best, and you can tell by looking at the seconds, they lag out when comparing them to real seconds. Even with its quirks, I find that it works great. Only tried it once with this configuration, and its almost automatic, just missing the little door opening by itself when cooling. I also find it better than skillets because as it has toaster type grills, if doing a double sided board, you can put light components on one side and there is no fear of the components being moved around due to the boards weight, that is as long as the components don't touch the grill.
I guess that's all. I didn't really plan the whole thing, so I couldn't give you the designs or any of the kind. Hopefully some time soon I will be making a bigger more powerful one with a better board placing mechanism instead of a grill, and the door a bit more elaborate.
