The teabaggers are out in full force to undermine the One Nation rally scheduled for October 2nd. Among their claims is that the rally is being sponsored by un-American, communist, socialist, terrorists (seriously, just go look at what Breitbart is saying.) Mike Papantonio talks with Ed Schultz about the fact that these teabaggers are so stupid that they don't even realize that they're stupid.

I taught reading to adults with disabilities for many years. People with developmental disabilities have to work very hard to learn anything. Once they do, that info is sacred. I have always said that Liberals and Progressives need people that talk to these people. Repubs make it a priority. These people are the most avid "followers". They look for someone to follow, that's their coping skill. Liberals don't talk to them and this would go a long way to neutralize the Beck and Palin followers.

I have to question this, the Dunning-Kruger paper doesn't say that you can't tell people things. It demonstrates that people will be more inclined to rate their abilities higher the lower their actually ability or knowledge. It was a demonstration of phenomena. It said nothing about you can't tell someone something.

I just read this sentence and realised much about my own son who has learning disabilities (In comparison to my other children). You are right, he is so proud when someone helps him to learn something. To the point that he idiolises those people that help him. What I've written is neither "spin" nor slander. Spin is the deliberate misrpresentation of events or truth to create a false impression. Slander is the public expression of a lie in the attempt to discredit someone's reputation. What I've written about Ronald Reagan is neither a misrepresentation of the truth nor a lie. Numerous books have been written on 1980s Central America, some written by ex-CIA who are proud of what they did.
