Pocket Hd Camcorder Focus/Marco comparison

hi all.

i get asked alot about which camcorder is the best for close ups. alot of youtubers who do beauty tips and tutorials ask me which would be the best.

so i thought i would show you a comparison of all my camcorders to see which one you think would be the best.

the camcorders i used are:
Kodak Zi8
Panasonic TA1
Kodak Playtouch
Kodak Playsport ZX5
Panasonic DC1.

out of all my camcorders and the ones i have tested i would say the panasonic DC1 is the best.

but if you are on a budget then the Panasonic TA1 or the kodak Playtouch would be a good choice.

Hate to bother you Chris but can you take a still image in macro mode? I did get this camcorder (the dc1) but a bit disappointed that I can get the macro while shooting "regular" video of myself-if that makes any sense LOL I am soo tech challenged :) Thank you for your help!

@Catalina031 its not a bother. i will see what i can do. i dont think i have tried a still in macro yet. i will probably put it on flickr. i will let you know when its up.

@9yippy i use the panasonic 8gb class 4. i have never had any problems with it.
