this is my 7 year old at her 3rd. competition. this was the highlight because she isn't supposed to be able to do bars! she has Erb's Palsy in her right shoulder and arm. Every other time she has tried, she has fallen off or needed her coach to help her. Today was a great day. Score 8.2!!!

  • Wow this is incredible! I have Erb's Palsy in my left shoulder and I am 22 years old. I never had surgery, did your daughter? My parents discouraged me from doing sports because they were afraid I'd further my injury but I just recently joined a Crossfit gym. I'd recommend it to anyone with this injury!

  • @ccampanile2189 no surgery. And gymnastics has done more for her that PT ever could have. My son does crossfit too, excellent workout.

  • I have erbs palsy in my right arm and my shoulder blade is popping out all the time I chose to go with soccer because its easier not to us my arm

  • @wzuppitbullz doing gymnastics has really helped her keep the shoulder blade in place. It develops the muscles around it so they hold it in place.

  • I'm very happy for your daughter that her Erb's Palsy is not as severe as mine. She is able to do what I dreamt of doing at her age! Good job, keep going. I saw the title and just HAD to see what she could do.

  • @mary61 check out her other videos on my channel. She is a higher level now and can do even more. God bless you and keep following your dreams!

  • @mary61 She is awesome!! My daughter did gymnastics too but chose to quit at level 5 because she just couldn't get past the thought of doing a back walkover on the beam lol!! This little girl....welll....every time, and Kim I know I always say this BUT, I always cry when I see her do the bars because I KNOW how hard it is for her. She is AMAZING!!!!!!! Hands down amazing!!

  • I'm a 21 year old makeup artist still in training but I want to take gymnastics classes just for fun (floor exercises only), I'm want to be a film actress and most actors don't use stunt doubles anymore. I have erb's palsy in my left arm and I'm afraid of injuring myself during back handsprings and I want to get a role in action films. Like every child, i can perform cartwheels and round offs but I want to do more than that if . Please help me

  • Great job! Glad your daughter is doing so well. Seems she has a lot more movement, strength and control than I ever had. I'm so happy for her that she can do gymnastics!

  • i have Ernst palsy too! You all know how it feels to those who have it.It tries to stop you but you just keep moving.
