The Grand Tradition is an annual event of the U.P. Economics Society (Ecosoc), held to cap off Ecosoc's (September) Tambay Week. It is a cross-dressing pageant participated in by straight-male representatives of Ecosoc's 12 committees. Begun in 1983 during Ecosoc's 25th anniversary, this year's Grand Trad is also one of the events lined up for the Society's 51st anniversary celebration.
