This knife can handle quite a bit. Ben from Blade HQ and I head out to the mountains to test the Benchmade Griptilian. Trying to push the limits of the knife but not going overboard. Take a look to see how it handled the beating.

Also check out Ben's video. He knocked it out of the park.

  • this is more the job of a (small) fixt blade. but i get the point.

u got to work with the tools that u got one u.

good testing vid, when i work in my house or car.this footage is more like a walk in the park.qua abusing the blade.

    5outa5.

  • @nofgood4live Thanks. Ya definitely a job for a fixed blade. It was a lot of fun to test it this way though. Course any time I'm in the mountains is a good time.

  • Trim your beard man

    You look like shit.

  • @w55ks Jelous?

  • Very cool video Crocket. You are right, these arent meant for this kind of heavy use applications, but it is comforting to know that when you pay the price for a knife like that you really do get a good value. As unlikely as it might be to have to do this to your Grip, the fact that it can do it is really impressive. I really enjoy videos that exhibit pushing a knife to its limits. Keep up the good work.

  • @Kylemagg88 You get it. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment.

  • and upcoming, we use a plastic spoon to open a can of beans :)

I watched it all, and I appreciate why you're doing what you're doing (in a sadistic sort of way) but to many of us it's like beating your pet/guard dog, you're the Michael Vick of folding knives, REPENT !!! this sort knife abuse MUST STOP !!! :)

    love the vid,

  • @scooter17568 LOL at KPS : )

  • I think you pretty much hit this one out of the park--this "raw footage" your review and Ben's vid. Yes, there was some abuse but not quite enough to call KPS (Knife Protective Services).

  • @sabr686 I really like that type of locking mechanism too. The functionality is great. Wish you well my friend.

  • @ScoutsNOA Good feedback Scouts. I like to change it up too.
