  • Zizek misses the fact that Butler and Derrida overtly keep a buoy afloat above this subsumption. True, (modern) falling asleep makes the systems internal force more potent; true, it is not that one escapes the ideology when one does deconstruction; that one has become aware - no, one does impossible absurd strafes into the aether. This is the overt content of "sophisticated" motions that attempt to do what Zizek admits he has no clue about; solving the problem he only points to like an ape.
